Privacy policy

Bistrova is a point-of-sale service for restaurants, run by Veeha Tech Solutions (“we”, “us”). This policy explains what information we handle, why, and the choices you have. It covers this website, the Bistrova app, the PC counter, the owner portal and the bill pages guests open from a link.

This website

This website has no sign-in, no forms, no advertising and no tracking cookies. When you message us on WhatsApp or email us, we receive what you send and use it only to reply. Our hosting provider keeps short-lived technical logs (such as IP addresses) to keep the site secure.

Information restaurants give us

• Account details: the owner’s name, email address and phone number.
• Restaurant details: name, address, GSTIN, FSSAI number, UPI ID and bill layout, and, if you use payment links, your Razorpay keys, which are stored encrypted.
• Staff details: names, logins and PINs that the restaurant creates for its staff.
• Business records: menus, tables, orders, bills, invoices, payments and reports.

We use this information to provide the service, keep it secure, give support and bill for subscriptions.

Information about restaurant guests

A restaurant may record a guest’s name and phone number on an order, for example for a takeaway or to send the bill on WhatsApp. The restaurant decides what to record and why; we store it on the restaurant’s behalf and use it only to provide the service to that restaurant. A bill link shows that one bill to whoever has the link, and nothing about other bills. Guests with questions about their information can contact the restaurant, or us at the address below.

Payments

Subscription payments and payment links are handled by Razorpay. Card and bank details are entered with Razorpay and never reach us. Money paid through a restaurant’s payment link goes to that restaurant’s own Razorpay account.

Where information is kept

Restaurant data is stored in a database in Mumbai, India (Supabase). Our websites are served by Vercel and Cloudflare. Information is encrypted while it travels over the internet, and each restaurant can see only its own data.

Sharing

We do not sell information, or share it for advertising. We share it only with the service providers named above, to run the service, or when the law requires it.

How long we keep it

We keep a restaurant’s data while its account is open. After an account closes, we delete or anonymise it, except bills and invoices, which we keep for as long as tax law requires.

Your rights

Under India’s Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, you can ask us for a summary of the personal data we hold about you, ask us to correct or erase it, and withdraw consent where we rely on it. Write to us and we will reply within 30 days.

Children

Bistrova is a business service and is not meant for anyone under 18.

Changes

If we change this policy, we will update this page and the date at the top.
